While we try to encourage you to do as much as possible in Capture One Pro 8, to get the most benefit from the RAW file, there are some tasks that can only realistically be done in Photoshop, for example, retouching.

Just a few other notes about panoramas and Capture One. This is of course just one way of working, and I created this in response to specific requests.

There is an applescript in Capture One the Mac version to merge images with Photoshop, but in my experience this is really flakey. If you want to use Photoshop rather than Affinity, then you would be better doing it manually, using the techniques I outlined for Affinity Photo. It should also be noted that if you use or have used Lightroom to merge a panorama, the DNG this creates this will also be read by Capture One without any major issues.

The goal of this is to show solutions for those who use Capture One and want a way to make Panoramas. If you do go to buy it, Capture One Pro is available in both subscription and perpetual licences available, in versions for all cameras , Fuji specific or Sony specific.

The Fuji and Sony versions only open raw files from cameras of the respective manufacturers, but other than that, they are identical to the full version.
